Refund & Returns
(1) We understand that from time to time you may wish to return a product to us.
We have created this 14 day returns policy to enable you to return products to us in appropriate circumstances…. Please note this is excluded on bedframes where if the item is not faulty, damaged and will automatically incur a £70 return charge as standard i.e. change of mind
Where you have no other legal right to return a product and receive a refund or exchange, then you will nonetheless be entitled to return a product to us where:
(a) We receive the returned product within 14 days following the date of [purchase / delivery] of the product;
(b) The returned product is unused, in its original packaging (with any seal or shrink-wrap intact), with any labels still attached, and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new;
(3) Returns procedure
In order to take advantage of your rights under this returns policy, you must: Contact us first, as returns can only be accepted if you have notified us i.e. email, phone
Once return is accepted the money will be returned via the original payment method. The refund can take up to 30 days to process, to ensure we receive the bed back in original condition.
The following kinds of products may not be returned under this policy:
(a) Products that have been altered yourself i.e higher headboard requests, anything over a standard 54″ is excluded from return.
(b) Products that have cosmetic damage or are unsellable i.e. damaged packaging, used or open packaging
Please note this is excluded on bedframes where if the item is not faulty, damaged and will automatically incur a £70 return charge as standard i.e. change of mind. This excludes bespoke items where higher headboards have been selected other than the default size of 54″, strictly no return on these items.
We will give you a refund for the full price of any product properly returned by you in accordance with the terms of this returns policy i.e. fully resell able unless faulty; the original delivery charges and excluding the costs of returning the product to us, as to return any product that is not faulty and wanting to be returned will incur a £40 pickup charge that is non negotiable unless the product is deemed to be faulty. Please note this is excluded on bed frames where if the item is not faulty, damaged and will automatically incur a £70 return charge as standard i.e. change of mind
(6) Improper returns
Where you return a product in contravention of this policy (and where you do not have any other legal right to return the product):
(a) We will not refund or exchange the product
No returns on any beds ordered with bespoke sizing i.e higher headboards
No returns on our accessories range
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at www.mattressbeds.co.uk If your return is accepted, we’ll send you on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalised items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
