Ordering
How do I choose the right size?
Our sizes follow UK standards: Single 3ft (90 x 190cm), Small Double 4ft (120 x 190cm), Double 4ft6 (135 x 190cm), Kingsize 5ft (150 x 200cm) and Superking 6ft (180 x 200cm). Measure your room and doorways before ordering, and allow space to walk around the bed.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Because every bed is made to order, contact us as soon as possible. If your order has not yet entered production we can change the size, fabric or storage option, or cancel it for a full refund.
Do you have a discount code?
Yes. Our current flash deal gives you an extra 15% off at checkout with the code EXTRA15. It is applied automatically in your basket.
Mattresses
Which firmness should I choose?
Front sleepers and heavier builds usually prefer a firmer feel, side sleepers a medium feel that lets hips and shoulders sink in. If you share a bed, our dual-sided mattresses give each side a different comfort surface.
What is the difference between pocket sprung and memory foam?
Pocket springs are individually wrapped so they move independently, giving targeted support and less partner disturbance. Memory foam moulds to your body and relieves pressure points. Our hybrid mattresses combine both.
Do I need to turn my mattress?
Rotate head to foot every month for the first three months, then every three months. Only flip a mattress if it is double sided; tufted single-sided models should be rotated only.
Why does my new mattress have a smell?
A faint new smell from the foams and fabrics is normal and harmless. Air the room for a few hours and it disappears within a day or two.
Beds & headboards
Does the divan base come with drawers?
You choose. Every divan can be ordered with no storage, 2 drawers on the left or right, 2 drawers at the foot end, or 4 drawers. Single beds take no storage or 2 drawers on one side.
Is a headboard included?
Headboards are sold separately so you can pick the exact style, height and fabric you want. All of our headboards bolt straight onto our divan bases.
What is the difference between strutted and floor standing headboards?
Strutted headboards attach to the bed base and sit just above the mattress. Floor standing headboards have full-length legs that reach the floor for a taller, more upholstered look.
Do beds need assembling?
Divan bases arrive in two halves that clip together, and the headboard bolts on with the supplied fittings. Most customers are set up in around 15 minutes with no tools beyond a screwdriver.
Fabrics & swatches
Can I see a fabric before I buy?
Yes. Order free swatches from our swatches page and we will post samples of the fabrics and colours you are considering so you can check them in your own light.
How do I clean the fabric?
Vacuum regularly with a soft brush attachment and blot spills straight away with a clean damp cloth. Avoid soaking the fabric and never use bleach or solvent cleaners.
Delivery
Is delivery free?
Yes, delivery is free to UK mainland addresses on every order.
When will my order arrive?
Because each bed is handmade, we give an estimated delivery window at checkout and confirm your date by phone or email before we dispatch. Orders placed before 12pm Monday to Friday enter production the same working day.
Do I need to be in?
Yes. Someone over 18 must be at the address to check and sign for the delivery. Full details are on our delivery page.
Payment & finance
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Klarna and Clearpay buy now pay later are both available at checkout, letting you spread the cost interest-free. See our finance page for details.
Is checkout secure?
Yes. Payments are handled by our secure checkout and payment providers, so we never see or store your full card details.
Returns & guarantee
Can I return my order?
Unused items in their original packaging can be returned under your statutory cancellation rights. For hygiene reasons mattresses cannot be returned once the packaging has been opened unless the item is faulty.
What if something arrives damaged?
Check your delivery before signing, note any damage, and contact us with photos the same day. We will arrange a repair or replacement straight away.
Is my bed guaranteed?
Every mattress and bed we make is covered by a manufacturer's guarantee against faults in materials and workmanship, provided it has been used on a suitable base and cared for normally.
